Status Letter Requests
The Mission Viejo Homeowners’ Association Inc. (HOA) is a voluntary community organization. We function as a State of Colorado non-profit corporation and have been in continual existence since 1975.
The Mission Viejo HOA is, by definition, not a common interest community and is not subject to the rules and regulations of the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) (C.R.S. §38-33.3-101 et seq.).
The Mission Viejo HOA is a membership association that represents and promotes the interests of the single-family residences within the Mission Viejo community and matters affecting the whole development as they relate to these residences.
Mortgage Insurance Companies often inquire about status letters as they relate to covenant liens within our HOA. Since the membership of the HOA is voluntary, (the members participate in Waste Connection trash service, or pay $30/year), there is no status to report within Mission Vieho HOA.
There are four other homeowner associations within the Mission Viejo Community. All are town home or cluster homes within the neighborhood. If you have an inquiry that is related to a town home or cluster home with common property issues or requirements, please contact one of the following applicable HOAs:
