One of our neighbors, Hannah Beroz, has put together a proposal to bring a Little Free Library to Mission Viejo Park, near the playground. A Little Free Library is a small weatherproof book cabinet where neighbors can take a book or leave a book — free, open to everyone, and stocked with children's novels, comic books, and non-fiction titles for young readers.

The proposal covers where the library would go, what it would cost to buy or build, design ideas (including a hand-painted mountain scene or a neighborhood design contest for kids), and how we could source books through community and library donations.
